Agreement

By using SkyStory you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. SkyStory is provided as an informational and storytelling product around publicly available flight data.

The service

SkyStory aggregates live aircraft positions from public ADS-B sources, enriches them with public metadata, and may generate AI-written stories and chat replies. Coverage, latency, and accuracy vary. Feeds can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Do not use SkyStory for navigation, air traffic control, emergency response, or any safety- critical decision.

No ownership claim over sky data

Position reports originate from aircraft broadcasts and open networks. SkyStory does not sell “ownership” of the sky or exclusive rights to those streams. Our product is the interface, storytelling, and related software experience.

AI content

Stories and chat answers can be produced by language models grounded in tool results. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated details. Treat them as narrative assistance, not certified flight information.

Accounts and watchlists

An account is optional. Without one, saved flights may stay in your browser only. With sign-in configured, watchlists can sync to your account. You are responsible for activity under your email. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

Acceptable use

• Do not abuse, scrape at abusive rates, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use the product to harass, stalk, or target individuals.
• Do not misrepresent AI or live data as official aviation authority output.

Availability and changes

Features may change, break, or be withdrawn as the product develops. We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for decisions made from map data, stories, alerts, or chat. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using SkyStory.
